Motherbord Gigabyte N680SLI-DQ6, 4gig of OCZ pc2 8500 DDR2 ram,

Intel Core2duo 6850 1333mhz and an Mtron ssd 16gig 3.5inch as c-drive.

"In the studio, we have a few computers with the same specs as mentioned above. Since the data on the c-drives of most our systems are between 9 to 11 gigabytes (we do not put audio samples on the c-drives) we can use a 16 gigabyte Mtron for that (the price of 600euro is well worth it), plus extra Mtron solid state drives (32-64 gigabyte) for the sample- and virtual instrument libraries, the latency settings are around 1-2ms, and virtual instruments load so fast that it seems that they are not loading at all, in a second they load let's say 5 gigabytes of piano samples … I've never seen a system that fast ! Others systems in the studio run with scsi 10K and 15k Seagate Cheetah drives with Atto level 3, 4 and 5 cards, Western Digital Raptors etc …, but the Mtron's are amazingly FAST !, the FASTEST ! When you start using the Mtron solid state disk, there is no way back.
