How do I make absorber panels and corner bass traps ?
"Test Results:
In a word ASTONISHING! The once muddy room now sounds fantastic! I can hear pristine mixes, much sharper sound stage, clear imaging, and much tighter bass lines. My studio has never sounded better! I feel like I'm finally getting to hear what my studio equipment and monitors can do. Installing acoustical treatments as described above will help absorb bass frequencies, reduce standing waves and low frequency reverb time, help control flutter echoes and ringing, and a controlled lesser amount at mid and high frequencies. This is where all home/project studio owners should begin in their quest for better mixes. If one can't afford commercial products then one should DIY" ©2005-2007 Steven P. Helm

Essentially, it breaks the guitar's fretboard down into five fingerings that are very easy and most likely very familiar to you already. These are the standard, open-position major chords that every guitar player knows, C A G E and D

I've been recording acoustic and electric guitars so long I'd rather not tell. I've also gone pretty deep into midi guitar and have programmed guitar patches on synths for MIDI guitars. The good thing for you is that you get the advantage of some hard won tips on recording guitars and making your playing sound the best it can be. Lets start with a basic guide to ways to recording the electric guitar. Tweakheadz

Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula is home to an amazing diversity of birds, yet the vocalizations of most resident birds have not been studied in detail. By recording the songs and calls of tropical birds and presenting an analysis of their vocalizations on this website I hope to accomplish three things. First, I attempt to provide a more thorough and quantitative analysis of these songs than is covered in field guides or elsewhere in birdsong literature. Second, I present examples of some common songs from the Yucatan Peninsula as a guide for the student of ornithology.
An on-line guide to some common tropical bird vocalizations with
